Mother Mary Charity Organization (MMCO)
Is a registered NGO engaged in Care and Livelihood activities for the well being of the Orphans/ Children in Abject Poverty/Violence/ Sexual exploitation (OVC) and Individuals infected by HIV/AIDS (PHA). It operates within Buwama Sub County, Mawokota South constituency, Mpigi District-Uganda and offices are allocated at Ssakabusolo LC 1/Village, Lubugumu Parish. It was foundeds by Madam Namulindwa Phellister and Mr.Barry Paul Ojambo in 2009Vision Statement

Objectives
- To improve the Education levels of OVCs/PHAs through: Offering bursary, Offering scholastic materials etc.
- To improve the Health status of OVCs/PHAs through: Advocacy, Community sensitization, Home Based Care & Nutrition etc.
- To improve the food basket & income levels of OVCs & PHAs’ households through Village saving & Loan scheme, formation of farmer-groups, Collective marketing of farmers produce etc.

Strategic Choice
The Organization is to work with OVC/PHAs from the age of 0 to 24yrs and able to employ Life Stage
Program as a guiding approach in all our programs as follows:
- Education for OVC/PHA aged 6 to 14yrs.
- Health for OVC/PHA aged 0 to 5yrs.
- Livelihood for OVC/PHA aged 15 to 24yrs.
- Education support to OVC/PHA with school scholastic materials.
- Provision of Nutrition & Medical support to OVC/PHA.
- Provision of Home Based Care, Counseling & Support to OVC/PHA.
- Training OVC/PHA in life skills in order to improve their socio economic status.
- Organizing community level advocacy meeting to create awareness on the rights of OVC/PHA.
- Training & Formation of Village Saving & Loan Association (VSLA).
